Three Arrested For Fatal Abduction Of Virginia Man Found In Own Vehicle: Police

The 43-year-old man found handcuffed and shot to death in the backseat of his own vehicle in Virginia was abducted after a drug deal gone bad, police say.

New details have been released by the Prince William County Police Department following the "suspicious" death of Woodbridge resident Jason Thomas Blake, whose body was found in a secluded area in Triangle over the weekend.

Three people have been arrested in the past two days in connection to the grisly murder after a friend found Blake's body in the 18500 block of Triangle Street on Sunday, Oct. 27.

Those charged: 

  • Jerrome Thomas Barnes, 40, of Dumfries;
  • Jackson Arthur Crisler, 30, of Woodbridge;
  • Tryevon Elgha Davis, 31, of Dumfries.

According to police, two days before Blake was found, he met with the three at a home on Cherry Hill in Dumfries to buy drugs and sell a firearm.

Investigators say that during that exchange, an altercation ensued, and Blake was "handcuffed and forcibly abducted from the residence against his will." 

Blake was then taken to Triangle Street, where he was shot and killed.

"As the investigation progressed, the three accused men were subsequently identified as being present at the time of the abduction or were present or directly involved in the victim’s murder," a spokesperson for the department stated.

Barnes was charged with: 

  • Murder;
  • Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony;
  • Abduction;
  • Conspiracy to commit a felony.

Crisler was charged with: 

  • Murder;
  • Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony;
  • Abduction;
  • Conspiracy to commit a felony;
  • Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Davis was charged with: 

  • Murder;
  • Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony;
  • Abduction;
  • Conspiracy to commit a felony;
  • Two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony;
  • Accessory before the fact in commission of a felony.

All three are being held without bond.

The fatal abduction remains under investigation.
